The Western Cape Province is well known for its natural beauty, Mediterranean climate and excellent wines. Nowhere in South Africa will you experience such rich cultural diversity. The Western Cape Province is by far the most popular among explorers. Follow the example of early sailors and stop over at the Cape of Good Hope for a few days while stocking up on vital provisions. An excursion to winelands will probably be required. When sufficiently stocked, travel along the Garden Route towards the natural forests of Knysna and Tsitsikamma.
