Surrounded by many of the Capes celebrated wine estates, golf courses and beaches, and only one hour from Cape Town, Franschhoek makes the perfect base from which to explore and enjoy this breathtaking region.
Plumwood Inn offers a number of rooms in either the Main Lodge or one of the two more contemporary, modern-styled Villas. It is the unique style and creative design together with the obvious indulgences that make all these rooms so luxuriously inviting.
Each of the rooms is equipped with Satellite TV, a hair-dryer with shaving plug, mini-safe, alarm clock, air-conditioning and en suite bathroom. You can expect fine quality linen as well as tea and coffee making facilities in every room.
The Main Lodge boasts 2 standard rooms on the first floor, a standard de-luxe room on the ground floor as well as a luxury suite. Each standard room features a lavish queen size bed for maximum comfort. The sleek, modern en-suite bathrooms are furnished with Hans Grohe fittings and boast a Hans Grohe Rain Dance shower along with a basin, toilet and bidet.
Each luxury room boasts either an extra length king size bed or extra length twin beds for ultimate opulence. A fireplace adds a romantic glow to three of the luxury suites. The substantial en-suite bathroom furnishes an oversized shower complete with side-jets to massage and rejuvenate as well as a bathtub to help soak away those tired muscles. Besides the double basin and toilet, the modern bathroom comes complete with a bidet as well as underfloor heating. Every luxury room features a remarkable balcony or patio from which you can enjoy the panoramic views of the wine valleys or overlook one of the sparkling pools and garden setting.
